Sackville Building, Manchester

Another favourite of mine in Manchester! 20 minutes past and pictures taken we had to make a swift exit as some shouted from one of the windows we had to sneak past only to find ourselves lost but we soon found our exit and we were on our way.

Sackville Street Building was once occupied by UMIST and was UMIST’s main building but in 2004 it merged with Manchester University. Construction on the building started in the early days of 1984 on a site that was owned by Sir Joseph Whitworth’s engineering works and in 1902 it was finally opened.
