Big Humpty, Manchester

I was still up at 7:30am after working into the early hours, I belled Rookie and got him out of bed.
After walking across Manchester in the lovely weather we came to Big Humpty thinking that we would only spend half an hour checking it out. This turned into two hours because of the shape, hard to capture!
Built in the early 1900’s Big Humpty is a culverted section of the River Medlock with a mix of brick & stonework lasting for 200/250 Metres.
