Saltley Gasometers, Birmingham

It’s been a while since I’ve posted here. The photograph above is of Morse situated at the top of one of the two gasometers in Saltley, Birmingham.

Last time we were this way we were baptised and spent a fair amount of time moonwalking bellow B’ham’s feet. This time the focus was the huge gasometers that pop up when you’re driving south, after a shady parking spot and palisade fence we were at the base of these giants.
After a walk on the rusty risers we set out in pairs for the climb to the top.

After stopping at the top on a thin slice of rust, a couple of photos were taken, we descended and headed home!
