The DW Stadium, Wigan

Originally this one was on the back burner as Bigjobs, Tweek, Millhouse & myself cruised to other less significant spots. I’m not too big of a fan of rugby or football. Still, they build us nice things to climb.
After some terrible ‘sneaking’ and attempts at being quiet we were making our way across the very top of the stadium, BJ’s stopping in one of the middles of the arches, photographed above.
‘The DW Stadium (formerly the JJB Stadium), is a Premier League stadium which was built in 1999 at a cost of £30million. It is home to Wigan Athletic Football Club, and Wigan Warriors Rugby League Football Club. The stadium has a current seating capacity of 25,138’
