Paradise Metro, Liverpool

Five or so years ago we were looking at a map of the empty and abandoned tunnels under Liverpool, many of those being utilised by Merseyrail, carrying two billion people per year around the 75 miles of track.

It happened that when we were looking for some of those empty tunnels that we accidentally touched down in the current system. After a brief visit and a couple of photographs, which can be seen below, we left.

both of the photographs above provided by; A & J.

We returned to Liverpool after a number of years, snapping a couple more of those concrete tunnels and checking out the largest junction in the system, photographed at the top of this post.

With not a massive interest in the system I will keep this one short and sweet; done.
